Meet Grace, MMG’s newest storyteller extraordinaire!

Meet Grace! She recently joined our team and is rocking it — from emails to social media to stories and more. Read on to discover her unexpected celebrity meeting and where she’d travel at the drop of a hat.

What kind of stories speak to you most?

I love stories that are honest. I read The Great Gatsby in high school like many of us, and I’m still not over how candid and raw that book is. But in the midst of a somber or sad story, more often than not, we still find hope and perseverance!

What’s your favorite part of your role at MMG?

I love hearing how our clients have noticed a need in their community and rallied their neighbors to help them meet this need. Through sharing these transformational stories, I hope readers in any community are encouraged to take steps to share hope.

What are some things that make your heart happy?

I love watching football, basketball and college softball with my dad (even though they tend to make my heart very unhappy!). Most of our team loyalties are out of state, so we try to travel to a few games together every year. My number-one sports memory is watching my favorite college softball player hit a walk-off home run in extra innings during the Women’s College World Series. I met her months later when we happened to be on the same flight!

When I was younger, I read all of the Sherlock Holmes short stories, and since then, I’ve loved crime shows, mysteries and legal dramas. But, surprisingly, I just read my first Agatha Christie novel this year!

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

I want to tour the mansions where all my favorite Jane Austen movies were filmed, so I would be on a flight to the English countryside today if I could!

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Despite all the time I spend in coffee shops, I’ve never had a real cup of coffee.
